About ResumeBee

ResumeBee is an independent, browser-based resume analyzer on resume-bee.com. Upload your resume, add your target role, and get a structured report — ATS readiness, keyword gaps, grammar feedback, role-match signals, and AI-powered rewrite ideas — in about a minute.

Our mission

Hiring pipelines are noisy. Applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiter filters can remove strong candidates before a human reads the full story. Small formatting choices, missing role language, or unclear bullets can hide real impact.

ResumeBee combines deterministic scoring (same inputs → same core numbers) with practical AI commentary so you can see what to fix, why it matters, and how to phrase it better — without guesswork.

What ResumeBee delivers

  • ATS readiness score — parseability, sections, keywords, impact, and clarity.
  • Global & TR score views — English-first and Turkish-aware presets in one report.
  • Keyword gap analysis — present, missing, and partial matches vs. your role or job description.
  • Role-match score — alignment between your resume and the target position.
  • Grammar checks — via the public LanguageTool API (https://api.languagetool.org/v2/check).
  • Rewrite recommendations — AI suggestions with resilient fallbacks if a provider is unavailable.
  • Interview prompts — sample HR, technical, and role-specific questions to prepare next steps.
  • Export & email — download the same report you see on screen (HTML/TXT/PDF) or email it when enabled.

How we measure ATS readiness

An ATS (Applicant Tracking System) is software employers use to collect, parse, and search resumes. ResumeBee does not connect to any employer ATS — we estimate how machine-readable and role-aligned your resume is before you apply.

The deterministic ATS score blends five weighted factors (each scored 0–100, then combined):

Factor Weight What we look for
Parseability 25% Single-column, text-friendly layout; low table/column artifacts that confuse parsers.
Sections 20% Clear headings for experience, education, skills, summary, projects, and contact.
Keywords 30% Share of JD-derived terms (when you paste a job description) or title vocabulary (when you do not) found in your resume — part of the ATS score only.
Impact 15% Metrics and outcomes near strong action verbs (%, time saved, revenue, scale).
Clarity 10% Readable sentence length and action-oriented bullet language.

We compute separate Global and TR presets, then report an overall ATS score as their average. Role-match and present/missing/partial gap tags use a separate target-title keyword list — see the FAQ for how the two keyword signals differ.

Analysis pipeline

  1. Upload .pdf, .docx, or .txt (max 15 MB).
  2. Optional malware scan when enabled on the server.
  3. Text extraction and parallel analysis: ATS core, AI commentary, grammar, matching, interview questions.
  4. Structured report in the browser — copy, download, share, or email.
  5. Temporary upload files are removed after processing.
