Part 1 — Terms of Use

1. Parties and Definitions

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern the relationship between ResumeBee ("we", "us", "our") and any person or organization ("you", "User") who accesses or uses the ResumeBee service.

"Service" means the resume and CV analysis platform including ATS (Applicant Tracking System) scoring, grammar and language checking, job-description keyword matching, AI-generated commentary, interview question generation, report delivery (download links, email), and all related features available at resume-bee.com and its subdomains.

2. Acceptance and Changes

By accessing or using the Service you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

We may update these Terms at any time. The revised version takes effect when posted on the site. For material changes we will make reasonable efforts to notify you via email or in-app notice before the change takes effect.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
You are responsible for the accuracy of any information you provide, including your email address. We are not liable for failed delivery caused by incorrect contact details.

4. Nature of the Service — AI Limitations

      The Service uses artificial intelligence and large language models (LLMs),
      including Google Gemini. AI outputs are not guaranteed to be accurate,
      complete, or suitable for any specific purpose. ATS scores and
      recommendations are informational only and do not
      constitute professional career, legal, or HR advice. You are solely
      responsible for decisions made based on Service outputs.
    

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose.
Upload content that belongs to another person without authorization, or that contains sensitive special-category data (health, religion, political views, etc.).
Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise extract the Service’s source code, algorithms, or underlying data.
Introduce malware, conduct denial-of-service attacks, or attempt unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.
Violate the terms of third-party platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, job boards) when providing links or pasted content.

6. User Content and License

You retain ownership of all resumes, files, and text you upload ("User Content").
You grant ResumeBee a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, revocable license to process, analyze, and use your User Content solely to provide the Service to you.
We do not use your resume content to train AI models or share it with third parties except as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual Property

All Service interfaces, software, algorithms, branding, logos, and report templates are owned by ResumeBee or its licensors.
You may not copy, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or sub-license any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

8. Payments, Pricing, and Refund Policy

8.1 Pricing

The Service may be offered on a pay-what-you-want (PWYW) basis with a minimum amount, or via fixed pricing plans. Prices may vary by currency and applicable taxes. Current pricing is displayed at the time of purchase.

8.2 Payment Processing

Payments are processed by third-party providers (e.g., Stripe, Gumroad, Buy Me a Coffee, or similar). Their own terms and fees also apply. We do not store your card or payment credentials on our servers.

8.3 No Refund Policy

ALL SALES ARE FINAL. WE DO NOT OFFER REFUNDS.

Because ResumeBee delivers a digital service that is fulfilled immediately upon payment — analysis is performed and the report is made available at the moment of purchase — no refunds will be issued once the Service has been rendered, regardless of the reason.

If you experience a technical failure that prevented delivery of your report, contact us at yorulmazyln@gmail.com within 48 hours and we will investigate and re-deliver or credit at our sole discretion.

8.4 Pricing Errors

In the event of a clear pricing error or technical fault, we reserve the right to cancel the affected order and issue a full refund of the amount paid.

9. Report Delivery and Access

Reports are delivered via download link and/or email attachment. Download links are time-limited (typically 7–14 days) and expire automatically.
We recommend you save your report immediately upon receipt. We are not obligated to re-generate expired reports.

10. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with external providers including AI/LLM APIs, grammar tools, virus scanning, hosting, payment processors, and email delivery services. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or privacy practices of these third parties. Their respective terms and privacy policies apply to your interaction with them.

11. Privacy

Our data practices are described in Part 2 — Privacy Policy below. By using the Service you acknowledge you have read and agreed to that policy.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, MERCHANTIBILITY, OR UNINTERRUPTED OPERATION. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE EMPLOYMENT OUTCOMES OR ATS PASS RATES.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, RESUMEBEE AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE PRECEDING 12 MONTHS.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ResumeBee from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Service.

15. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, internet outages, third-party platform failures, or government actions.

16. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time. Termination does not entitle you to a refund.

17. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes will be submitted to binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction.

Part 2 — Privacy Policy

1. Data Controller

ResumeBee operates this Service and acts as the data controller for personal information collected through it. Contact: yorulmazyln@gmail.com

2. Data We Collect

Contact Data: Email address provided for report delivery.
Content Data: Resume/CV file or text, job description text, LinkedIn profile text, and target role title that you submit for analysis.
Technical Data: IP address, browser/device type, server log entries, and analytics data collected automatically when you use the Service.
Payment Data: Payments are handled entirely by third-party processors. We do not receive or store card numbers or full payment credentials.

We do not request or require sensitive special-category data (health, religion, political views, biometrics, etc.). Please do not include such information in your resume or any submission.

3. How We Collect Data

Directly from you when you upload files, enter text, or submit forms.
Automatically via server logs, cookies, and analytics SDKs as you interact with the Service.

4. Why We Use Your Data

5. Third-Party Service Providers

We share data with trusted processors only to the extent necessary to provide the Service:

AI / LLM: Google Gemini (text analysis and suggestions)
Grammar checking: LanguageTool (language and grammar analysis)
File security: VirusTotal, Cloudmersive (malware scanning of uploaded files)
Email delivery: Resend (report delivery emails)
Hosting / infrastructure: Render and equivalent cloud providers
Analytics: Web analytics tools operating under data processor agreements
Payments: Stripe, Gumroad, Buy Me a Coffee, or similar (payment processing only)

All processors are contractually bound to use your data only as instructed and to implement appropriate security measures.

6. International Data Transfers

Our servers and some processors are located outside your country of residence. Where required by law, transfers are conducted using appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions.

7. Data Retention

Uploaded files: Temporary files are deleted from our servers immediately after processing (within seconds of analysis completion).
Report download links: Accessible for 7–14 days, after which they expire and associated data is removed.
Server logs and security records: Retained for 30–90 days for security and debugging purposes.
Payment and transaction records: Retained as required by applicable accounting and tax laws.

8. Security

We apply technical and organizational measures including access controls, encryption in transit (TLS), least-privilege principles, and regular dependency updates. No internet transmission is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies required for the Service to function, and may use analytics cookies to understand usage patterns. You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings.

10. Automated Decision-Making

ATS scoring and keyword matching involve automated analysis. However, no legally significant decisions are made solely by automated means. All outputs are advisory; you retain full responsibility for career-related decisions.

11. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you.
Request correction of inaccurate data.
Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
Object to or restrict certain processing activities.
Request portability of your data in a machine-readable format.
Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority if you believe we have mishandled your data.

12. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed at persons under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us data, we will delete it promptly.

We will only send marketing or promotional communications if you have explicitly opted in. You may unsubscribe at any time via the link in any such email or by contacting us.

14. Policy Updates

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. For material changes we will make reasonable efforts to notify you in advance.
